This focused Ph.D. level course teaches important and useful competencies that help express your structured thoughts in scientific and technical writing. Domain wise, the course is focused on Computer Science, and, more particularly, on Intelligent Systems. Not all the writing genres are covered. Instead, the course concentrates on offering generic suggestions and ground these on the examples of immediate practical use: technical reports, Ph.D. theses, Ph.D. proposals, short (work in progress) and regular conference papers, journal review papers. The course is useful for Ph.D. students in helping them increase their proficiency in writing and presenting.

In the Fall semester of 2025-26, our PhD Seminar is schedulled bi-weekly, on Tuesdays, at 16:00 - 18:00 EEST. The first meeting will be on October the 14th. The last meeting will be on December the 23d.
